摘　　要：从编制体制制度、组织模式以及交叉研究专题等方面,分析了美国纯粹与应用数学研究所(IPAM)的运作模式,结合以工科为主的理工院校的实际,对交叉研究中心建设中的编制体制方案、交叉研究组织模式、交叉研究内容设计、运行机制等方面提出了一些新构想。Some new thoughts on the multidisciplinary research center in polytechnic university are posted. They include the organizational systems, muhidisciplinary research design and operating mechanism which are formulated by analysing the operating mechanism in American Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics （IPAM） and the actual practice in polytechnic universities.
