当代新道家的道统意识及其文化意义——兼论陈撄宁在中国文化史上的地位

摘　　要：当代新道家应该是站在时代前列,回应现代新儒家、新佛家和现代西方文明,以图复兴道家文化的一代大师。从这个意义上来讲,陈撄宁才是当之无愧的当代新道家的开拓型人物;继承自家文化的道统是中国传统文化代表人物普遍的心理历程,陈撄宁为代表的当代新道家构建新道家学说的努力与历史上的中国知识分子一样,是一种"经学忧患意识"形态之道统论的体现。在道教人才缺乏的现当代史上,陈撄宁代表了道家文化现代重构的洪大声音,体现了强烈的弘扬传统、复兴中国文化,引领世界文化潮流的强烈要求,其在中国思想和文化史上的地位,与新儒家的冯友兰和新佛学的太虚大师差可比拟,在现当代史上,陈撄宁先生是儒释道三家传统文化现代转型中道家文化现代转型的杰出代表,代表着一座三角鼎立的文化高峰。Modem new Taoists, in response to modem new Confucians, Buddhists and modem western civiliza- tion, are considered to be a group of masters who pioneer for their time and undertake the renaissance of Taoist cul- ture. In this sense, Chen Yinning, struggling to construct the new school of Taoism as many other scholars inherit and develop the ruling consciousness of their own belief, deserves the title of modem pioneer of Taoist culture. Chen, whose greatness ranks with Feng Youlan, a master of new Confucianism, and Taixu, a master of new Bud- dhism, represents the loudest call to reconstruct Taoist culture and the strongest desire to develop and expand Chi- nese tradition and Chinese culture. In modem development of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism times, Chen is a distinguished representative of Taoism to support one of the three pillars of Chinese culture.
