东亚海域SeaWiFS通用算法和SOA算法的比较

摘  要:为了比较SeaWiFS计划中使用的K09光谱优化算法和S03通用算法在不同海域的反演情况,利用不同海域(尤其是东亚海域)现场观测的遥感反射率、叶绿素浓度等数据进行对比印证研究。结果显示,在悬浮泥沙和黄色物质影响大的水域,K09算法反演结果较S03好,平均相对偏差为26%~48.5%,随波长减小而增加;在较清澈水域,S03算法在较短波段(490-412nm:25.9%~45.1%)总体反演结果好于K09算法,但K09算法在长波段反演结果较好(510nm:29.2%,555nm:26%)。进一步分析发现,可见光波段遥感反射率反演结果偏低主要与悬浮泥沙含量和吸收性气溶胶的存在有关,反演结果偏高则主要与黄色物质含量有关。最后,叶绿素a反演结果显示S03算法总体较K09算法要好,显示了叶绿素波段比算法的鲁棒性。To compare the performance of the spectral optimization algorithm (K09 algorithm) and the standard SeaWiFS professional algorithm (S03 algorithm), validations were carried out using the in situ data, including the remote sensing reflectance and chlorophyll-a concentration, measured from different areas (especially in the East Asian seas). Results showed K09 algorithm, with the averaged relative error varying from 26-48.5% (555nm-412nm), has an advantage over S03 algorithm in the waters dominated by suspended sediment and CDOM. In clear waters, S03 algorithm performs better than K09 al gorithm at the shorter wavelength (490-412nm: 25.9-45, 1%), while at the longer wavelength K09 is relatively better (510-555nm, 29.2-26 %). Further analysis showed that the underestimation of the sat ellite retrieved remote sensing reflectance over water in the visible bands is related to the conditions of higher suspended sediment or stronger aerosol absorption, and the overestimation is possibly due to CDOM. In terms of chlorophyll a concentration, S03 algorithm exhibits higher accuracy than K09 algo- rithm does, showing the robustness of the band ratio algorithm.
