摘  要:随着我国进入了高度重视教师专业化培养的新时期,我国中小学的英语教育更是面临着改革和发展的契机。而在基础教育阶段,大部分学生身处农村,要提高中小学英语教育的整体质量,首先要提高农村中小学英语教育的质量。本文结合贵州中小学英语教师培训(国培计划)等方面的实践,在调查研究的基础上,以贵州为案例,对农村中小学英语教育的现状进行分析,并提出一些对策和建议,以期在探索贵州中小学英语教师培训模式创新的同时,能为今后贵州乃至整个西部地区开展外语教师培训提供借鉴和启示。As China steps into a new era in which great importance was attached to teachers' professional training, China' s Eng- lish education of primary and secondary schools is faced with the opportunity of reform and development. But in the stage of basic education, most of the students living in rural areas, thus, in order to improve the overall English quality of primary and seconda- ry education, we must first improve the quality of English education in rural primary and secondary schools. In this paper, we combined English Teacher' Training in Guizhou (National Training Programs) with other aspects of practice, based on some re- search, take Guizhou' English education for example, analyze the condition of its primary and secondary schools in rural areas, later, make some modest measures and suggestions, with the hope of exploring some innovate models of English teachers' train- ing in Guizhou, and to provide some references and inspiration for conducting English teachers' training of the entire western re- gion in the future as well.
