从委婉语看中日两国民族文化的差异

摘　　要：委婉语既是一种语言现象,又是一种社会文化现象,在中日两国语言文化生活中扮演着十分重要的角色。虽然在使用中具有相同的避讳、礼貌、掩饰等心理基础,但是在表现形式上却存在着很大的差异。运用对比研究的方法,通过对委婉语使用时的心理因素进行具体分析,以求进一步探讨其所体现出的不同民族之间的文化差异。Euphemism is not only a language phenomenon, but also a social cultural one. It plays a very important role in both Chinese and Japanese cultures. Both of the two cultures have similar psychological basis for the use of euphemisms, such as taboos, politeness, concealing and so on; however, they differ a lot in their forms. This thesis uses the comparative way of research to specifically analyze the psychological factors that affect the use of euphemism in the two cultures. It aims at finding out the differences between the Chinese and the Japanese cultures embodied in the respective use of euphemisms in the two languages.
