摘　　要：通过文字构形、出土文献、传世经籍和出土实物的调查得知:瑟早于琴,瑟与琴两种乐器不是如夫妻相伴,而是兴衰交替,其交替过程从春秋到战国渐进。瑟在春秋时期多用于宴乐抒情,与钟鼓是隆重之乐相对立。《周公之琴舞》周公与成王诗前面的序中出现的"琴",应当是战国时代重新组织编排所致。先秦文献不论是内容、语言形式还是组织结构,大都是在流传过程中层累而成,不能妄断真伪。盲目信古与盲目疑古都有害无益。随着出土文献的大量出现,逐渐具备了分层剖析的条件,对古书形成、语言应用等方面的研究定当更加深入。Se was more early than Qin( 琴),and the two kinds of musical instruments are not as couple to accompany,but the alternate process from the Spring and Autumn period to the Warring States period progressively based on the findings of composition of characters,unearthed literatures,the pre-Qin classics and unearthed investigations Qin( 琴) for many pleasures Lyric in the Spring and Autumn period,and the drum was the temple of music opposite. 'Qin( 琴) 'appeared in front of the order of The Duke of Zhougong( 周公) and Chengwang's( 成王) poems in the Zhougong zhi qin wu( 《周公之琴舞》),should be reorganized by the Warring States period. The pre-Qin literatures whether content,language form or structure,mostly gradually formed in the spreading process,can not be judged the authenticity or false easily. The attitudes of blind faith in the ancient and blind doubt to the ancient are both harmful. A large number of unearthed literatures gradually appearing formed a condition that can help us to analyze the ancient books profoundly
