基于语料库的中美高校网站英文简介的高频词共选研究

摘　　要：分别选取中美高校网站英文简介各18篇,自行构建微型语料库,采用语料库检索软件wordsmith5.0对该微型语料库中美高校网站英文简介高频词搭配的共选开展对比研究。结果表明,中国高校英文简介存在着修饰语较为单一、修饰过度等问题。在此基础上,对出现该现象的原因进行分析探讨,并针对有效地撰写中国高校网页上的英文简介,提出语篇撰写简短凝练、增加词汇选用多样性等可行性建议。According to the target of this study, 36 English introductions have been chosen from the websites of both Chinese and American universities respectively, and a micro-corpus is built. With the help of wordsmith5. 0, this study aims to carry out a comparative study on co-selection of high-frequency words of English introductions among Chinese and American universities. The result shows that compared with American university English intro- duction, the modifiers of the Chinese English introductions are too simple, and the high-frequency words are over- modified. Based on the result, the study analyzes the reasons and put forward feasible suggestions to effectively im- prove the writing quality of English introductions of Chinese universities.
