摘　　要：右边界限制是关于前指确认的重要的限制,它要求新成分连接的可及的先前话语的成分是在右边界上。对于纯粹代词的前指,它是相当绝对的。然而,右边界限制却受到了限定词、量词域、复数代词和句法限制性省略的挑战。限定摹状词所提供的额外内容有时提供了足够的内容来建构允许前指连接的结构关系。对于量化域和复数代词,问题不在限制,而在于我们如何看待论题。而对于句法限制性省略,在连接中,我们应该注意信息的预设状况。The Right Frontier Constraint is an important constraint on anaphora resolution. It claims that only the discourse constituents on the fight frontier are available for the attachment of a new constituent. It seems to be pretty much absolute for anaphors that are pure pronouns. However, it is challenged by definites, quantifier do- mains, plural anaphors and sluicing. The additional content provided by definite descriptions sometimes provides e- nough material to construct a structural relation that licenses the anaphoric link. For quantificational domains and plural pronouns, the problem is not so much with the constraint, but with how we conceive of topics. As for slui- cing, we must attend to the presuppositional status of information in attachment.
