摘　　要：在分析西部地区铁路网发展必要性的基础上,采用连通度法构建数学模型,对西北地区铁路网规模进行分析预测。从服务西部地区经济发展、社会进步,以及国家安全等多个方面对未来西部地区的路网布局进行研究,按照性质和功能的不同,将未来西部地区铁路网分为东西部的便捷通道、省区间开发性通道、对外国际通道3种类型进行规划。Based on analyzing necessity of railway network development in west area, this paper takes analysis and forecast on railway network scale in northwest area by using mathematical model established by connectivity method. The paper also studies railway network distribution in west area in further time from many aspects, such as serving economic development, social development and national safety in west area, and, according to different performances and functions, makes planning on dividing the further railway network in west area into 3 types, including convenient corridors in west ＆ east area, developing corridors among sections in provinces and international corridors to foreign countries.
