用千兆位以太网技术改建校园主干网的构想

摘　　要：随着计算机网络技术的迅猛发展 ,校园主干网技术已从以双环 FDDI、1 0 0 Mbps快速以太网技术为主导发展到以 ATM、千兆位以太网技术为主导 .为了满足高等院校教学、科研和管理工作对信息网络建设日益高涨的需要 ,几年前所建成的校园主干网的更新换代、升级提速已是势在必行 .文中以西安石油学院校园网为例 ,在全面分析、对比的基础上 ,从高速、可靠、实用、安全、易于管理等方面提出了用千兆位以太网技术改建、升级校园主干网的构想 。With the rapid development of computer network technology, ATM and Gigabit Ethernet is replacing dual ring FDDI and l00Mbps Fast Ethernet technique which dominated the construction of campus trunk network. In order to meet the highly increasing requirements of teaching, scientific research and administration for information and network, it is imperative to upgrade and improve the campus trunk networks which were constructed before several years. After thinking high speed, reliability, practicality, security and manageability, the author proposes a thought on upgrading and reconstructing XAPI campus trunk network using Gigabit Ethernet technique. And a practical and feasible network scheme is also put forward.
