摘  要:采用Pekar类型变分方法研究非对称量子点中强耦合极化子基态和激发态,得出极化子的基态和激发态能量随电场和横向和纵向有效受限长度的变化关系.结果发现基态和激发态能量是电场的减函数。We study the ground and the first excited state energies of a strong-coupling polaron in an asymmetric quantum dot (QD). The effects of the electric field and the transverse and the longitudinal effective confinement lengths on the ground and the first excited state energies are taken into account by using a variational method of the Pekar type. It is found that the ground and the first excited state energies are decreasing functions of the electric field. They will increase rapidly with decreasingtransverse and longitudinal effective confinement lengths.
