摘　　要：四天长一层——广州20年前提出的珠江新城双子塔中的东塔，如今正以这样的速度日渐挺拔。8根500米高的钢柱，将擎起这座高约530米的“广州第一高楼”。Construction of skyscrapers is quite hot in China.As it was depicted in a report on skyscrapers in China, there were 533 skyscrapers in U.S. and 470 skyscrapers in China by the end of 2012. Nevertheless, the report roughly estimated according to the current building tendency, there would be 1318 skyscrapers in China in 2022, with many located in the second or third tier cities. Will this construction boom do good or harm to China's economy?
