Based on Chinese General Social Survey (CGSS) data, this paper examines non-agricultural working experiences' influence on farmers' social network. The results conclude that farmers with non-agricultural working experiences have more social relationship network than without non-agricultural working experiences. The reason is that non-agricultural working is more collectivistic than separate agricultural working, so the one who works in non-agricultural industry has more opportunity to contact with others than in agriculture. In addition, non-agricultural working experiences adjusts and changes the attitude and ability of the individual social network development. Using the Shapley value of R2, this paper finds that non-agricultural exper-iences has an important influence on forming a network gap, and the contribution degree can reach to 8.67% and rank fourth, which is second only to the factors of party members" status, education degree and personality. This study implies that although urban and rural labors" transformation show a new trend that rural labors who ever worked in urban start to return at present, the government should still improve rural labors' transformation. Because it is not only good for rural residents' income rising, but also good for creating spread social network.
