Copper is one of essential trance elements of body, in 1995 Barber for the first time found that adding higher normal physiological need 10 times the amount of copper can improve animal pro- ductivity, copper as an additive was widely used to promote growth. However, high dose copper metabo- lized slowly in vivo, and mainly concentrated in the liver, which was easy to cause the animal to have chronic copper poisoning; unabsorbed copper was excreted through the feces, and polluted the environ- ment; copper in soil through the plant passed to the herbivorous or human body, that affected the food safety and human health. So we need a deep thinking about the high dietary copper.
