摘　　要：学习语言(包括外语)的最终目的在于运用它获取实际工作所需要的专业信息并进行专业交流,深入了解和掌握与所从事专业相关的文体学(包括外语文体学)知识是很有意义的。介绍了科技文体学及科技英语文体学的基本知识,并阐述了"适当的文体交错不是错"的文体观。The terminal aim of studying languages （and foreign languages）is to use them to obtain the information practically needed in one＇s work and communication,so it is highly worthwhile to learn a lot on stylistics of his / her majors. In this paper,for serving the strategy of developing China by relying on science and education,some basic knowledge on Scientific Stylistics,esp. on the Stylistics of EST （English for Science and Technology）,is introduced briefly,and a proper attitude toward Scientific Stylistics is proposed as well.
