摘　　要："材料科学基础"是材料学专业的一门重要专业基础课。针对该课程抽象概念多、内容量大、难理解、难记忆、考核困难等特点,本文从教学手段、教材内容、实践教学和考核改革等四方面详细介绍了对本课程教学上的一些探索,为材料学专业学生能力的培养奠定良好的基础。Fundamentals of Materials Science is an important professional basic course in materials science. According to the large number of abstract concepts, more contents, difficulties of understanding and memorizing, and difficulties in assessment, this paper shows some studies on the course teaching from four aspects, such as the teaching methods, teaching contents, prac- tice teaching and examination reform. This purpose is to lay a good foundation for the cultivation of the material science stu- dents＇ ability.
