摘　　要：《唐宋诗醇》是乾隆皇帝亲自主持编选的一部唐宋诗歌选本,在唐宋诗之争的诗坛论争中,这一御选唐宋诗选本以宗唐为基调,兼容宋诗。其编选有着深刻的政治考量,一则是以温柔敦厚的诗教传统为纲,贯联唐宋;一则是以兴观群怨为旨归,统摄诗坛思想。其对诗人、诗作的选择、品评始终以此为统驭,在雅正的标准下扬唐兼宋,统和诗坛趋向,以归于清明盛世的舂容气象。The Essence of Tang and Song Poems is a large poetry of the Qing Dynasty, authorized by emperor Qianlong. The compiling purpose of the collection is chiefly characterized by its esteem for the poems of Tang and Song. It emphasizes the function of political enlightenment of poetry primely. It emphasizes the political reasons：on one hand it uses the kind and honest tradition of poem teaching to combine Tang with Song;on the other hand it thinks happiness is more important than complaints in order to unite the poets＇ thinking. Based on these, the islamic,elegant and positive aesthetic characteristics of the poems emerge in The Essence of Tang and Song poems.
