论早期《聊斋志异》英译中的伪翻译现象——以乔治·苏利耶·德莫朗的译本为例

摘　　要：由于主客观方面的原因,早期西方汉学家的《聊斋志异》英译中存在大量的伪翻译现象。其中乔治·苏利耶·德莫朗的Strange Stories from the Lodge of Leisures中的伪翻译现象最为突出,主要体现在两方面:一是借翻译《聊斋志异》之名,行完全创作之实;二是以《聊斋志异》故事情节为底本进行再创作。Pseudo-translation is common in the English translations of Liaozhaizhiyi by the early western sinologists due to subjective or objective reasons. And the pseudo-translation in Strange Stories from the Lodge of Leisures by George Soulie de Morant is a typical case in point which was reflected in two aspects ： complete creation under the disguise of translating Liaozhaizhiyi and recreation on the base of Liaozhaizhiyi.
