摘 要:退溪和栗谷在韩国哲学思想史上是双碧交辉的思想大家。他们同时生活在16世纪,写下了堪称绝世之作的《圣学十图》与《圣学辑要》。退溪的《圣学十图》是圣学的体系之要,而"敬"成为贯穿始终的核心范畴;栗谷的《圣学辑要》是对圣学体系的具体展开,尤其是躬行圣学的实践纲目。栗谷在继承程朱理学的基础上,将退溪的"敬"引向"诚"而使"敬"进一步由"诚"所强化而成为更为成熟的"敬"哲学。这种由"敬"而达于"诚",至于"诚"而完成"敬"的思维路向,实为退、栗哲学不同于程、朱之"敬"的地方,也是韩国性理学为东亚的程朱理学做出的特殊贡献。Toegye and Yi I, the two great thinkers, are two shining stars on Korean history of philosophical thought. They both lived in the 16th century, and wrote down Ten Pictures of Saint Theory and Abstract of Saint Theory, the two books which have been living throughout the ages. Toegye's Ten Pictures of Saint Theory is the essential of Saint Theory system, throughout which 'respect' becomes central category. Yi I's Abstract of Saint Theory is specific expansion of Saint Theory, especially for the practical logics which personally practice Saint Theory. Yi I lead Toegye's ' respect' to ' honest' after inheriting the Neo-Confucianism, making the 'respect' more developed to the more mature 'respect' philosophy. This direction of thinking that ' respect' develops to ' honest' and ' honest' complements ' respect' , is the point differs Toegye and Yi I's philosophy from the ' respect' of Neo-Confueianism, and is also Korean Neo-Confucianism's special contribution to East Asian Confucianism.
