摘　　要：北京协和医院一直被誉为全国医务界的排头兵,在复旦大学医院管理研究所公布的中国最佳医院排行榜中连续第四年蝉联榜首,其中成功的文化建设发挥了至关重要的作用。该院早年在全国率先提出"协和精神",并在医教研管实践中不断总结、提炼、丰富和完善协和文化的内涵与特征,逐步形成了以协和精神、办院理念为核心内容的,以精品文化、病人安全文化及科室亚文化为从属内容的协和文化架构体系。该院文化建设的经验证明,在文化传承中发展,在文化创新中超越,是一家医院能够永远领跑医学科学前沿的重要保证。Peking Union Medical College Hospital（PUMCH） has always been the leader of Chinese medical industry, which is named as the best hospital in China appraised by Hospital Management Institute of Fudan University for the fourth consecutive year. Successful culture construction plays an important role. PUMCH spirits were firstly put forward in China by the hospital, and have been continuously concluded and improved the intension and characteristic, leading to the form of cultural system that concentrates on PUMCH spirits and philosophy, and supplements by the fine culture, patient safety culture and department subculture. The practical experience proves that developing with inheritance and transcending with creation are the crucial assurance of PUMCH＇s leadership in medicaI science.
