摘　　要：英国高等教育内外部环境的变化使得英国高等教育财政拨款多元化和政府影响力不断削弱。英国政府、学生、雇主和大学成为高等教育共同的利益相关者,高等教育的传统模式正被一种新的模式所取代,随之而来的在学生培养方面的"投资回报"及如何获得具体就业技能的关注度不断增加。伴随着高等教育国际化趋势的进一步加强,在培养和争取优质生源方面,大学也在不断地展示自身的卓越与独特性。The internal and external environment changes of UK＇s higher education have brought about diversity of higher education funding and the decline of the government＇s influence on universities. The British government, university students, employers and university are all interested parties in the higher education. The traditional mode of higher education is replaced by a new mode. More and more attention is paid to the practical skills that would help students to find jobs upon graduation. Against the background of internationalization of education, universities have to build their excellence in order to attract high quality students.
