摘 要:意义问题是语言哲学研究的核心问题,也是众多学科普遍关心的问题。蒯因和伯克的理论虽然分属不同的学科,但都涉及到语言的意义问题,他们的意义观都强调人的因素和语境的因素,带有强烈的人文性特点。本文对蒯因与伯克理论中所体现的意义观进行研究,并在此基础上,探讨意义的人文性。Meaning is the key issue in the study of philosophy. And it is also the topic of study of many other disciplines. Although Willard Van Orman Quine and Kenneth Burke belong to different fields of study, they both touch upon the question of the meaning of language. They emphasize the roles of human beings themselves and the context of language use in the determination of meaning, and thus their studies of meaning have a strong tendency towards humanism. Based on the studies of Quine and Burke, this paper examines the humanistic nature of meaning from three aspects, i.e. from human beings' interactive linguistic communication, from their cognitive activity and from their intention.
