摘 要:本文基于英语通用语研究,通过问卷和访谈等实证研究对部分高校教师的语言态度及其对教学行为的影响进行了调查。研究发现大多数受试英语规范意识仍十分牢固,对中国英语的发展持否定和怀疑态度,在教学实践中认同基于母语使用者的母语思维模式的英语教学模式。最后指出在英语全球化趋势不可逆转的情况下,教师教育应注重引导英语教师正视英语作为通用语的现实,结合国内外英语教学理论的最新发展,对英语的形式和功能重新定位,树立更加客观、全面的语言意识,这对于改进教学实践、提高教学质量具有积极意义。Viewing teaching from ELF perspective, the author has conducted a survey on the language attitude of college English teachers and its impact on their teaching practice. It is found that most teachers prefer an exonormative, ENL-based model of English as the teaching model and adopt a comparatively negative attitude towards nativization of English in China. The author proposes that it' s an imperative for teacher education to help College English teachers develop a more overall and objective language attitude with the prospect of irreversible change of English as a Lingua Franca with globalization. It' s of vital importance for them to increase their knowledge about current research on pedagogical models of English, which will help them innovate their English teaching practice and enhance their teaching quality.
