摘　　要：《雨王汉德森》的主人公汉德森是出身名门的百万富翁,却并不感到幸福。他无法与社会和家人和平共处,时时烦躁不安,陷入了严重的精神危机。最终,他飞往非洲,在阿内维和瓦利利部落的一系列遭遇终于使他猛然醒悟,找到了生活的真理和生命的意义,实现了精神解困,得以全新的姿态拥抱生活。In the modern life with abundant materials, individuals are getting increasingly lonely and void. Human beings are being alienated. Henderson, the hero of Henderson the Rain King, is the typical figure of 1he era. He is a millionaire born inlo a wealthy and respected family, but he is desperately unhappy. He cannot get along with family members as well as the society, and is often seriously upset. He is trapped in a spiritual crisis. Ultimately, he flies to Africa, where he is successfully aware of the truth and meaning of life, shakes off spiritual burden and leads a positive attitude toward life.
