摘　　要：瓦尔特·赫尔曼·能斯特是德国卓越的物理学家、物理化学家和化学史家.能斯特方程的发现者、能斯特灯的创造者,因提出了热力学第三定律而获得1920年诺贝尔化学奖.能斯特一生曾在多所大学从事研究和教学工作,对物理、化学等学科的发展做出了杰出贡献.Walther Hermann Nernst is a Germany's outsanding physicist,physical chemists and chemical historians. He invented the Nernst lamp,and raised the Nernst's equation which is quite important in chemistry. He even won the 1920 Noble Prize for establishing the third law of thermodynamics. Nernst had devoted himself in researching and teaching in several universities. He had made great contribution to the development of physics,chemistry and other disciplines.
