摘　　要：被誉为"佛罗里达女梭罗"的美国地域女作家玛·金·罗琳斯创作的大部分作品都以佛罗里达中北部荒野地区为背景和素材。该地区的气象不仅是罗琳斯描写的主要内容,同时也在其创作中扮演了重要的角色:四季的交替变化是组织作品架构的重要方法;气象灾害推动故事情节发展,决定人物命运;自然界的各种气象是促进人物成长的重要因素。罗琳斯的气象书写表现了其精湛的创作艺术,同时也体现了她对自然的热爱,以及对人与自然关系的深刻思考。American regional writer Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings is often called ＇ a Florida Female Thoreau . Many of her works were written width the North Central Florida of wilderness as settings and subjects. The rich meteorological phenomena of the region is not only a main part described in her works, but also plays other key roles in her writing： the cycle of seasons is a common organizing device; meteorological disasters facilitate the plot development and determine the characters destiny; meteorology is a primary factor contributing to the characterization of protagonists. The above shows Rawlings＇s skillful writing art on the one hand, her love of nature and her insightful thoughts on the relationship between mankind and nature on the other hand.
