摘　　要：侗族以族群的智慧创造了丰富多彩的文化艺术,拥有本民族突出的社会生活价值观。重义轻利、克己利人、热心公益是侗族人最为突出的传统美德。宽容儒雅、趋静求稳、崇尚和谐是侗族最为基本的民族品性。The Dong people, as an ethnic group in China, have created colorful rich culture and art and possess their own value of social life. It is found that they place more emphasis on in- tegrity than profits, sacrifice personal benefits for others, and are devoted to the public welfare. ＂Besides, they are generous, forgiving, tolerant, quiet-loving and harmony-pursu- ing.
