摘 要:为克服传统记录方式光栅一级衍射效率不高对液晶空间光调制器应用产生的限制,采用斜入射方式记录了非对称薄动态全息相位光栅,光栅的一级衍射效率达到60%。基于非对称的液晶分子取向,给出了光栅产生的物理机制,提出了非对称光栅的数学模型。该研究促进了液晶材料在实时光学信息处理领域的科举研究,拓宽了液晶材料的应用范围。This paper seeks an alternative to the conventional recording method which suffers from lower grating diffraction efficiency of 1st-order,thus limiting the application of the liquid crystal spatial light modulator.The alternative follows from using oblique incidence beams by which to record asymmetric thin dynamic holographic phase grating and affords the diffraction efficiency of 1 st-order of up to 60%.The paper builds on the asymmetric reorientation of nematic liquid crystal molecules,presents physical mechanism of asymmetric dynamic phase grating,and features a mathematical model for characterizations the asymmetric grating.The study may promote the scientific research of the liquid crystal material in the field of real time optical information processing and widen the range of applications of the liquid crystal material.
