摘 要:如何开发适应当地文化的本土化汉语教材,在国际汉语的推广和应用中占有举足轻重的地位。文章通过对北加州地区的汉语教材问卷调查的统计数据进行分析,发现中文教材的使用和学校的类别有很大关系:北加州大部分公立学校使用学区指定教材《中文听说读写》,而近一半的中文学校则使用了《中文》;不论公立学校还是中文学校,自编类教材的使用数量也高居第三。问卷统计数据也显示,教师对教材的满意度与教材是否囊括K1-12年级、练习题设计是否丰富关联紧密。Localized Chinese textbooks suitable for the local culture play a significant role in the international promotion and application of the Chinese language. By analyzing the statistical data obtained from the questionnaire survey of Chinese textbooks used in north California, this paper concludes that there is a close relationship between the school types and the choice of Chinese textbooks. Most government-funded schools in north California have used Integrated Chinese selected by the school district, while nearly half of the Chinese schools use Chinese. No matter what kind of schools, the number of self-compiled materials ranks the third. The questionnaire survey also reveals that the satisfaction of the teachers is closely related to the textbooks that include K1-12 grades and the quantity and quality of the exercises.
