摘 要:前人对焦炭炼铁的研究大都从字面意思推测,缺乏具体、深入的分析和考证,更缺乏对这项技术的发展和普遍应用方面的研究。本文通过对技术的辨析和文献考证,认为现有文献不能证明我国在明代就已经使用焦炭炼铁,清初的焦炭炼铁是以坩埚炼铁技术实现的,在清末民国时期我国的传统炼铁技术中并未普遍使用焦炭炼铁。Previous studies of pre-modern China iron-making using coke based on textual sources have inferred their ideas purely from the text and have lacked specific and in-depth analysis, and have been even more lacking in research into the development and general use of the technology. This article combines technical analysis and textual research to argue that the extant literature cannot prove the presence of the technology of iron-making with coke in the Ming Dynasty. This technique was achieved through crucible smelting in the early Qing Dynasty, and that coke was not generally used in traditional iron-making technology in the late Qing and Nationalist periods.
