摘　　要：长期以来,较少有人意识到帮助学生提高词汇学习的能力的重要性和紧迫性。本文提出了一些对大学英语词汇教和学的建议:学生必须纠正对词汇学习的错误观念,注意常用单词的学习和实践,奠定坚实的语言基础;教师应创造良好的学习氛围采用恰当的词汇教学策略,激发学生学习词汇的兴趣,充分培养学生使用英语的能力。It has been apparent for some time that little attention has been given to the improvement for helping students learn vocabulary. This paper presents some remedial teaching and learning suggestions on English vocabulary： students＇ misconceptions about vocabulary learning must be corrected, and attention should be directed to laying a solid foundation by emphasizing the learning of commonly used words and practice should be further stressed; teachers should create favorable atmosphere for learning and adopt suitable strategies to amuse students＇ interests in learning vocabulary and fully develop students＇ abilities in using English.
