摘　　要：为推动中国海洋石油开发从近海走向深海,中国海洋石油总公司于"十一五"提出深水发展战略;包括深水铺管起重船"海洋石油201"在内的"五型六船"深水重大装备研制,是该战略的重要组成部分。论文总结了中国第一艘深水铺管起重船"海洋石油201"研制的背景、过程、主要技术创新以及对中国海洋石油工业的重要意义,为今后类似深水重大装备研制提供借鉴。In order to speed up exploration and development of offshore oil and gas in China from shallow water to deepwater, China National Offshore Oil Corporation （CNOOC） set up deepwater development strategy to build her own “Five Types Six Vessels” deepwater fleet in the Eleventh Five-Year period, and the development of deepwater pipelay crane vessel“Hai Yang Shi You 201”was one of the major equipment of the strategy. This paper summarizes the background, process, main technical innovations of the first deepwater pipelay crane vessel “HAI YANG SHI YOU 201” in China and its great contributions to the development of china offshore oil industry, which will provide reference for future development of similar deepwater vessel.
