摘　　要：1973年由麦克米兰公司出版的布赖恩·贝利（Brian J.L.Berry）《城市化的人类后果》（The Human Consequencesof Urbanization）,1981年修订再版为《比较城市化：20世纪的不同道路》（Comparative Urbanization：DivergentPaths in the Twentieth Century）。本文编译了贝利总结的20世纪不同国家和地区的城市化道路。The book of The Human Consequences of Urbanization by Brian J. L. Berry, which is published by Macmillan in 1973, was revised and republished as Compara- tive Urbanization： Divergent Paths in the Twentieth Century in 1981. This ar- ticle compiled the urbanization paths of different countries and regions in the 20th century, which were summarized by Berry in his book.
