摘 要:郭沫若与侯外庐这两位马克思主义学者的学术争论是一段鲜为人知的历史。二者借用马克思术语来阐释墨学和对墨子明鬼的争论,尤其是对墨子的明鬼主张有相左的观点。从侯外庐的书信、著作、自传与学术交游入手,探索其墨学诠释背后的"隐藏叙事",解读其与郭沫若在明鬼问题上的分歧与侯外庐的理论的底层结构,阐明同样身为马克思主义学者为何却发展出不同的墨学诠释,并尝试分析侯外庐论证的多重思路,彰显侯外庐学说的立场、结构、与方法。In this paper, I want to offer an insight terminology, two diametrically opposed opinions -- into how under the same umbrella of Marxist that of Guo Moruo and that of Hou Wailu, both Marxist scholars -- could coexist. I construct Hou Wailu's discussion of the Mohist ghosts in his various works from the vantage point of his refutation of Guo Moruo's views on the same topic, making use of their scholarly works, letters, autobiographies and other primary sources. This "inside narrative" is based on what is beneath the surface of the actual text: both personal connections and academic lineages, Chinese and Western, are linked to the actual content. So far, the mutually opposing interaction between Guo Moruo and Hou Wailu appears to have gone unnoticed by other scholars, and the manner and method of Hou Wailu's argumentation has not yet been examined from this point of view.
