摘 要:本文通过对2013年江苏省13市中考英语试题中关于文化考查的统计,从数量、题型、命题方式及考查内容等方面展开分析,结果表明:文化考查基本体现《课标》的精神,对教学起到了一定的反拨作用,但试题存在题量不足,文化知识考查比例过高等问题,对此笔者提出,教师应明确文化意识教学内容,拓宽学习渠道,提升学生的文化意识;命题者应议定文化考查项目,命制出既关注文化知识,又平衡文化理解、跨文化交际意识和能力考查的高信度的中考英语试题。Through the statistic investigation into 2013 senior high school entrance English examination papers of 13 cities in Jiangsu from a cultural perspective, the results show that the cultural elements tested in the examinations basically embody the spirit of the Curriculum Standard and have a positive backwash effect on teaching. However, there still exist such problems as inadequate quantity, too many cultural items. To solve these problems, our suggestions are as follows: First, teachers should stress the cultivation of cultural awareness, bear in mind the teaching content, and expand the learners' learning channels so that their cultural awareness can be promoted. Second, examiners should discuss cultural testing items, so that they will design the English testing papers, emphasizing not only cultural knowledge, but also a balance among cultural understanding, cross-cultural awareness and cultural competence.
