摘　　要：从稻作DNA的研究结果来看,水稻的"阿萨姆·云南起源说"是不成立的。粳稻起源于长江流域,籼稻起源于亚热带的某个区域。粳稻和籼稻并非来自同一个祖先,在野生稻阶段,稻就已经分成粳稻型和籼稻型了。In accordance to the data from the DNA of rice, the Assam-Yunnan Rice Origin theory has been proved incorrect. It is now clear that Japonica rice originated in the Changjiang River Valley areas while Indica rice originated somewhere in the subtropical zones of Asia. Japonica rice and Indica rice did not branch from a same ancestor： they appeared in two different types as early as in the wildrice period.
