爱默生的个人主义思想对构建和谐社会的启示

摘　　要：拉尔夫·沃尔多·爱默生作为美国19世纪伟大的思想家被认为是确立美国文化精神的代表人物。他的思想体系庞大深邃,他的个人主义思想反映了其思想精髓。作为美国文化精神的先驱,他的个人主义思想不仅对美国个人主义观念的确立以及民族独立的的发展起到了承前启后的作用,而且对我国当下的社会发展同样具有一定的启示作用。Ralph Waldo Emerson, one of the greatest thinkers in the 19th century, was regarded as the representative of American cultural spirit. The system of his thought is vast and complex, in which individualism occupies an important place. Emerson＇ s individ- ualism serves as a link between the past and the future in the course of constructing American individualism and the fostering national independence ; meanwhile it also provides inspirations for China＇ s social development. This article attempts to analyze Emerson＇ s indi- vidualism from three perspectives.
