摘　　要：沈从文由于其特殊的文化背景与生命体验,虽进入现代都市却感到格格不入,处于"在而不属于"的状态,始终觉得自己是个"乡下人",对城市生活感到厌倦。同时随着社会文化语境的激变和社会地位的变动,使得沈从文对自己的文化归属与文化本质特征始终处于一种追寻和确认的过程之中,陷入文化身份的矛盾与焦虑,文化身份体现出明显的建构性特征。Shen Congwen thought that he was ＂in the city but did not integrate into the life of the city＂ be- cause of his unique cultural background , he always felt that he was a countryman, and he was tired of the urban life. Shen Congwen has been in pursuit of intellectual identity and the cultural nature with the devel- opment of the cultural context and the social status and he was also in the dilemma of his intellectual identi- ty, which revealed the constructing features.
