摘  要:大国的崛起往往推动社会科学的发展,日本企业的实践在八、九十年代对企业战略理论所产生的巨大影响即是典型的例子。相对地,在大国经济的相对停滞期,与其实践相关的社会科学理论也往往归于沉寂。但是,近10余年来,在日本企业竞争力相对衰落的同时,产品建构理论的日本学派却呈现出极度的繁荣。这一现象与产品建构理论的内在结构、模块化的深层逻辑、日本企业竞争力的形态和日本学界的研究传统密切相关,不能简单地归因为学术倾向的保守化。The rapid growth of the major nations often gives rise to the prosperity of these countries'social sci- ences. For example, it is well - known that the record - setting expansion of the Japanese firms made a size- able impact on the theory of firm in the 1980s. Contrastingly, when the major nations experience long- fun- ning economic slump, the social sciences which are based on these countries'experiences tend to lose influence and popularity among the academic circles. However, in the past decade, although the competitiveness of the Japanese firms declined relatively, the Japanese school of architecture - based analysis of competitiveness, the theorization of the origins of the competitiveness of Japanese firms has been won unexpected support. The aforementioned phenomenon closely relates to the inner structure of architecture - based analysis of competi- tiveness, deep logic of modularity, specific form of Japanese firms'competitiveness and the academic tradition of Japan, cannot be attributed to the conservatism of Japan's academic circles.
