摘　　要：晚唐诗人薛能的诗歌因非议前贤而备受指责,但薛能的生活、思想和心态却可以说是晚唐的一个缩影。文章以薛能的诗歌和前人对薛能的评价为样本,由此窥视晚唐一代文人的思想心态和精神风貌。Xue Neng, the poet in the late Tang Dynasty, is blamed for criticizing foreunners achievement. While his life, thought and mentality is .said to be epitome of the late Tang Dynasty. This paw.r looks into the generation of scholoars in the late Tang Dynasty, analyzing their thought, mentality and mental outlook from the aspect of sampling Xue Neng＇s poety and the evaluation got from others.
