摘　　要：艺术合法性问题是一个老问题,甚至可以说是美学的一个原初问题,也是理解托尔斯泰美学的入思之处。不了解这一点,就无法了解托尔斯泰的"感染说"和"宗教艺术"的主张,更无法理解托尔斯泰所揭示的"艺术异化"现象。本文认为,艺术合法性问题是一种挑战,我们只有直面这种挑战,我们的美学才不会空谈所谓的审美拯救,才会走出书架。The validity of arts is an old issue, a primary concern of aesthetics and also the key to understand Tolstoy＇s aesthetic thoughts. Without it, it would be impossible to understand Tolstoy＇s ＂empathy＂ and ＂religious arts＂ , let alone comprehend the ＂alienation of arts＂ suggested by Tolstoy. This paper argues that the validity of arts is a challenge that people must confront and only by thus can aesthetics avoid the prattle of so - called aesthetic salvation and get connected with the real world.
