摘　　要：编辑工作者是期刊编辑出版的前期"设计者"、中期"组织者"和后期"把关者"。编辑的能力与编辑工作的水平直接影响和制约着期刊的综合质量,在学术期刊的编辑出版过程中处于关键地位。因此,对编辑工作的内容、意义,以及编辑需具备的素质进行较为全面的认识非常重要,也是成为一名合格高校期刊编辑的前提。Editors are the ＂designers＂ in the preliminary work, the ＂organizers＂ in the middle and the ＂gatekeeper＂ in the final stage of editing. The competence of the editors and the quality of editing di- rectly affects and restricts the quality of the journal, so it plays a key role in the process of editing and publishing an academic journal. Therefore, it is important to acquire a comprehensive understanding of editorial contents and meanings and personal qualities, which is also the premise of being a qualified u- niversity journal editor.
