摘　　要：视神经萎缩是病理性诊断,但是被国内外临床误称为诊断术语。视神经萎缩不代表预后"无治疗希望",其实有很大的康复潜力。通过对残余视功能的挖掘,患者能够恢复部分视功能。追求视神经萎缩患者"有生之年之有用视力"是每一位眼科医生努力奋斗的目标。Optic atrophy is a pathological diagnosis, but has been mistaken as clinical diagnostic terminology both at home and abroad. Optic atrophy does not mean ＂no hope for treatment＂. In fact, there are great potentials for restoration by different means. Through mining the residual visual function, patients can restore part of visual function. To pursuit the rest useful vision of optic atrophy patients＇ is every ophthalmologist＇ s working goal.
