摘　　要：以中国电话口译服务商"同译宝"为例,分析了解国内电话口译现状,指出了电话口译在中国一些大型活动上的成功应用,最后,对如何在中国发展和提升电话口译服务提出看法。This paper discusses the pros and cons of telephone interpreting. Using a Chinese telephone interpreting com- pany-Language Tele-Interpreter Service - as an example, this paper attempts to illustrate the occupational status of tele- phone interpreting in China. The successful application of telephone interpreting in some big events makes people know more about it and its advantages. Finally, some suggestions about the promoting telephone interpreting service in China are put forward in this paper.
