中美新闻标题的跨文化对比分析

摘　　要：以《中国日报》和《纽约时报》的新闻标题为语料,以系统功能语言学理论为基础,结合对比分析方法,从及物性系统、情态系统等方面对两大报纸"亚太"专栏新闻标题的语言特点、选择倾向、思维方式等角度进行跨文化解读,旨在对比中美两国"亚太"关注点的异同以及对于不同的国家所采取的不同报道方式、角度及目的。因此,在阅读权威报纸时,也要带着批判的眼光去审视新闻标题,把握新闻所体现的政治意图,避免受其误导。Choosing the news headlines of China Daily and The New York Times as corpus,this article,on the basis of Systemic Functional Linguistics（ SFL）,combines contrastive analysis to interpret the features,orientation and ways of thinking in such two kinds of newspaper from transitivity and modality. It aims to dig the similarities and differences in the common focuses of China Daily and The New York Times as well as their distinctive ways of reporting models,perspectives and purposes. The author hopes that when readers read official newspapers,they should equip themselves with critical thinking so as to grasp political intentions of news headlines and avoid misunderstandings.
