摘　　要：桐城谚语承载着丰富的地域文化信息,它多角度多层次地反映了当地生活环境、衣食住行、风俗习惯、价值观念等方面的文化面貌,具有鲜明的地域文化特色,如重耕读、讲礼仪,重礼让、讲和谐,重伦常、讲仁义,重勤俭、讲自强等。深入发掘桐城谚语的文化内涵,对于弘扬地域优秀文化,构建和谐社会具有重要的现实意义。Tongcheng proverbs contain abundant information of regional culture and it is multi- level and multi angle to reflect the local living environment,basic necessities of life,customs,values and other aspects of culture,with distinct geographical and cultural characteristics.For example,attaching importance to farming and reading,emphasizing etiquette and humility,focusing on comity and harmony,valuing ethics and righteousness,paying attention to hardworking and thrifty and making a point of self-reliance are all their characteristics.Therefore,it is important to enrich the fine cultural heritage of the nation and build up a harmonious society to advance by exploring the cultural influences of the proverbs in Tongcheng.
