摘　　要：在美国高等教育场域中,存在着数量众多、类型多样的协会组织。这些协会组织在多个领域承担着重要的管理职能:促进高等教育跨州区域协作,实现区域教育资源共享;传递高校和社会呼声,影响政府高等教育政策制定;接受政府委托,协助政府调控高等教育发展;规范高校及其专业办学行为,评估和保障高等教育质量;制定高教领域职业活动规范,捍卫活动主体权益;参与院校决策和建设,发挥监管和协同作用。非政府组织承担重要的管理职能是美国高等教育管理模式的特色。There are various American higher education associations whose functions include carrying out interstate cooperative activities, sharing educational resources, conveying the voices of education insti- tutions and the public to government for national policies, accepting governmental commission to help with the development of higher education, regulating acts of the institutions, evaluating their quality, formalizing professional norms and safeguarding relevant interests, supervising their management and construction. Non-governmental organization is a distinctive feature.
