摘　　要：从食品质量与安全专业在安徽省的布局特点出发,结合皖西北经济形势和阜阳师范学院信息工程学院的办学特点,分析学校开设食品质量与安全专业的必要性、紧迫性及办学优势,为学校申报食品质量与安全专业及后续专业建设提供参考。The article starts from charactering the layout of food quality and safety specialty in Anhui province. The necessity, urgency, feasibility and advantages of setting up food quality and safety specialty in College of Information Engineering, Fuyang Teachers＆#39; College are further analyzed, based on economic environment of the northwest of Anhui province and school-running characteristics in the college. These will refer to the application for food quality and safety specialty and subsequent construction of the specialty in College of Information Engineering, Fuyang Teachers＆#39; College.
