摘　　要：伍尔夫的经典作品《达罗威夫人》,通过对两条线索的并行与交织表现了现代人精神恐惧的普遍性。作为经典的意识流小说,《达罗威夫人》熟练运用自由联想的手段和内心独白和蒙太奇的意识流技巧,打破时空的自然顺序,使作品完美呈现了意识流小说的文本特征和艺术特色,真实地反映出20世纪初西方人灵魂的骚动和心灵的渴求。Virginia Woolf＇s Mrs. Dalloway presents the spiritual trepidation among modern humans in two parallel and mixed plots. As one of her classic works, Mrs. Dalloway vividly reflects the turmoil in the soul and morbid craving of the westerners in the 20th century by demonstrating the typical textual features and artistic characteristics of stream- consciousness novels--free association, breakup of time order, inner monologue and technique.
