摘　　要：家具是人们日常生活中不可或缺的生活器具.不同的家具设计形态对使用者的实际感受会产生很大的影响.而任何设计形态都是通过材料去表现的,可以说材料的跨越式发展促进了设计的不断创新.笔者通过探讨家具与材料的关系,介绍了当前我国主要的几种家具材料,在倡导"低碳"家具的背景下,探讨了其发展趋势.Furniture is indispensable appliance in our daily life. The various furniture design patterns will have a great in- fluence on user＇s own experience. Any design pattern is presented based on the materials, which indicated that the great leap development of materials promote the sustainable innovation of design. In this paper, based on discussing the relation between furniture and materials, analyzing the major furniture material in China. Based on the support of the ＂low carbon＂ furniture, the authors discussed its development trend.
